WELCOME TO NONPROFIT WEB free stuff for nonprofits
Nonprofit Web is a free online guide to free
resources for nonprofit organizations, including teams, clubs, schools,
churches and other charitable organizations. Our purpose is
to highlight the many free resources available to nonprofits online.
It drives us crazy, for example, to see so many web sites willing to
charge you money for access to government grants. Government grant
information should be, and is, totally free to access online. Free grants
information can be found all over the internet. With that in mind, we have
designed a number of simple guides to simplify your search for free
nonprofit resources.
Free
Grants Search Tool: If you want free access to database listings of thousands of grants, just try our free grants search tool. You can also set up free alerts so you never miss a grants opportunity.
Free
Grants Information: By definition, all grants are free grants.
What we provide is information on how to find the grants that best suit
your organization. This information is readily available online for free
so don't pay for listings of grants.
Free
Grant Writing Guides: I used to work as a nonprofit consultant
and grant-writer. My goal, however, was always to put myself out of
business by teaching my clients to do it for themselves. Here are some
resources to help you write grants on your own. By the way, I consider
it unethical to pay a grant writer on a commission basis. Grant-makers
give money for programs, not for paying outside professionals to make
your case for you. And furthermore, a professional writer should be paid
regardless of whether the grant is approved.
Free
Grants Software: It used to be that you had to pay for grants
software to help you find grants. Those days are over. Here are some
free software tools to help you find and get the grants you need to
fulfill your mission.
Free
Traditional Fundraising Programs: Churches and schools have been
running community-based fundraising programs fro decades. The growth of
the internet has reallty improved how these programs work. Here is a
selection of free fundraising programs to help your cause.
Free
Affiliate Fundraising Programs: Affiliate marketing sounds
complicated but it isn't. There are thousands of companies out there to
partner with, for FREE, in order to raise money for your organization.
Here are our recommendations.
Free
Nonprofit Technology Tools: Again, the internet and technology
have really improved our ability to meet our nonprofit goals. Don't miss
this great collection of technology resources to better accomplish your
mission.
Free
Nonprofit Marketing Tools: We all know competition for funding
is intense. Here are some free marketing strategies and resources to
improve your chances.
How
to Start your Own Nonprofit: We are often asked if it is
difficult to start your own nonprofit. In fact, starting a nonprofit is
remarkably easy and should require no professional help. Except for a
few fees, it is also basically free.
Free
Nonprofit Resources: Now, running a successful nonprofit is a
whole different story. For that we, offer a collection of useful online
resources to imrpove your organization and your chances for success.
PLEASE NOTE: The resources in our guide are
free (except an occasional shipping and handling cost). This does
not mean that anyone is just going to give you money for your
organization. We can show you the online resources to help you achieve
your mission, but we are not promising to do the work for you. We only
promise to save you time and money by pointing you in the right
direction.
So, what is in it for me? Good question.
Nonprofit WEB earns revenue through keyword-targeted advertising and
affiliate partnerships with companies or organizations serving the
nonprofit community. Advertisements served from Google may link to
services that are not free and these services do not come with an
endorsement from Nonprofit Web. On the other hand, Nonprofit WEB
recommends all of the affiliate partners featured on this site and their
related products and services. I have been involved in affiliate
marketing for over ten years and have learned to be highly selective
about choosing partnerships.
